No, I’m not changing the name of my website, Charlotte Rose Writes is here to stay. I love my blog and I have no plans on stopping writing. However, I have another passion too; digital planning. I used to be huge on bullet journaling with a proper paper journal and a million coloured pens but when I got my first iPad Pro 10.5 inch at the end of last year I made the switch over to digital planning and I’ve never looked back. Fast forward to July 2020 and I have upgraded my 10.5 inch to a shiny 12.9 inch 2020 iPad Pro and with it upgraded my digital planning game too.
A couple of months ago I decided to create my own digital planner. I had no idea how to go about this really, but of course with the help of YouTube I quickly found out and once I started I was hooked. It didn’t take me long to realise that I loved the creation process and so I made the decision to start my own Etsy shop and Charlotte Rose Plans was born. I’m so excited about this new venture, I love being creative and I love digital planning so for me this is the perfect combination of the two. It’s been a lot of hard work, I’ve spent hours each evening after my full time job, working on planners, notebooks and stickers etc. I’ve made a lot of mistakes and learnt a lot along the way but I have to say I’ve really enjoyed every part of it. Learning new skills is always challenging but once you’ve got the hang of something it’s suddenly not so difficult anymore.
If you’ve not tried digital planning yet I highly suggest you give it a go, all you need is a PDF annotation app, an iPad and Apple Pencil (or equivalent) and you’re good to go. Digital planning on the iPad Pro is brilliant, there are a ton of PDF annotation apps to choose from (Goodnotes being my personal favourite) and because it’s digital, you never run out of paper! So from that perspective, it’s not only better value for money but more sustainable too.
If you would like to check out my creations you can find my shop here and as a reader of my blog, you can get 10% off any purchase with the code CHARLOTTEROSEWRITES. I have a lot of ideas in the pipeline so keep an eye out for new releases very soon!
