This is the privacy policy for which contains information on how your personal data is collected, what it is used for and how it is kept secure. You will also find information on how you can opt-out of certain elements where personal data is collected, although this may be browser dependant and in some cases could limit your access to features of this website, i.e. leaving comments.


When visitors leave comments on the site the data shown in the comments form is collected, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. Visitor comments may also be checked through an automated spam detection service.


If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website where embedded location data is present.

This website uses Google Analytics. This is a third party service which is used in order to ascertain the number of visitors to this website over a month/year, as well as the popularly of my blog posts in order to help me better understand the content my readers are most interested in. Google Analytics collects standard internet log information, details of traffic, and visitor behaviour patterns.

I do not publish this information nor do I have process any information obtained from Google Analytics in a way that it would indentify any individual. Neither Google or myself make any attempt to identify any individual accessing this website.
